What is the National Alliance for Hispanic Health

What is the National Alliance for Hispanic Health?

The mission of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health is to improve the health and well being of Hispanics. The National Alliance for Hispanic Health is the premier science based organization focusing on Hispanic Health. Alliance community based members reach over 15 million Hispanic consumers throughout the U.S. Since 1973 the National Alliance for Hispanic Health has grown from a small coalition of visionary mental health providers to a large, dynamic, and strong group of organizations and individuals. Constituents are members, the consumers served by members, and the greater society that benefits from the health and well being of Hispanics. Since the National Alliance for Hispanic Health was created it represents all Hispanic groups, does not accept funds from tobacco or alcohol companies, and is dedicated to community-based solutions.

This is definitely an organization worth checking out.
